At one time the building was split into three separate cottages, but then subsequently converted back to one large residence. Work was undertaken to turn it into a nursing home in the mid 20th century which involved the creation of a myriad of small rooms. The nursing home never opened but the small rooms remained. In latter years the building has been used residentially and partially in connection with a kennels and cattery business which was mainly run from various outbuildings on the site. We hope we have achieved a sympathetic and sensitive restoration of the building, which is worthy of a visit in its own right!

The contemporary sits along side the traditional in spaces featuring exposed stone and brick, and lime plaster walls, with timber and stone floors, stunning archways and exposed roof timers, accent lighting and delicious scents. Take a look at our restoration gallery to see how we have transformed the building. New designs have been added to our unique collection of hand crafted English oak, burr oak, and ash country furniture with elm, walnut, forged steel and glass added to the mix of materials that we work with.

Our aim is to offer you a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We encourage you to wander through our various rooms at your leisure, to see, to touch, to seek inspiration, and to fully appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of our work.
