cathy read - wheel of hope

Cathy Read has a fascination for city landscapes which are constantly changing and for the structures of contemporary buildings. She explains:

“They are alive with the necessity and dreams that bring them into creation. I depict the life within which ultimately comes from the people living and working within. I represent this vitality through the movement of the paint

Contrasts play a significant part in my work. The order and chaos of a dream world defined by physical actuality, light and dark or clarity versus obscurity.”

Please come and have a look!!
