It’s Christmas in Woodstock …and probably where you are too! Far too early really, but there’s things to do, lights to put up, events to organise…
Colour at Christmas – December’s art in the furniture store exhibition
So, December sees us mounting a new ‘Colour at Christmas’ exhibition, featuring the paintings of Catherine Spring, the ‘marble’ wall art of Jennifer Newman Fox, the ceramics of Sarah Wiggins and the sculpture of Rosamond Lloyd alongside a very special offering of Christmas gifts and accessories….
We are having a preview party on:
Saturday Dec 1st 6.30 – 10.00pm in our Woodstock showrooms and we hope you will be able to join us…
STOP PRESS: We will be serving delicious canapes specially prepared for us by The 10 in 8 group who have recently taken over the dining offer at Woodstock’s famous Bear Hotel.
We have also added to the exhibition a selection of exotic guitars from a ‘private collection’ to include: a very special PRS 20th anniversary Custom 22, a ‘Fender Custom Shop’ Jeff Beck Strat and several other tasty specimens
Besides the colourful art on display, there will be a live sculpting demonstration by Rosamond Lloyd and a veritable musical feast from a host of musicians, featuring performances by: Le Pondorosa (members of Cooper Black), woodman & friends, The Woodstock Snow Stars (featuring Katie Humble & Ros Lloyd) and more…
We will of course be offering the usual mix of fine wines, log fire, fun and furniture……
The exhibition will run until the end of December
Our ‘furniture piece’ of the month is a beautiful sofa made specially for us by one of Nottinghamshires finest upholstery houses – The Cotswold Knowle Sofa is upholstered in sumptuous Cotswold oatmeal and spice fabrics.

Sat Nov 24th, 6.00pm – A Night of a Thousand Candles, Woodstock Town Square, switch on of the town’s lights, performances by The Primary School Choir, The Woodstock Snow Stars and Woodstock Christmas past, present and future!!
Fri Nov 30th 7.30 Woodstock Social Club – An evening with Cooper Black & friends, raising funds for the club.
